SIDEWALK CHALK CONTEST
Sponsored by Classic Home Realty - Heather Cunningham
We will have two Sidewalk Chalk Contests on Saturday. The morning Contest will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the afternoon Contest will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
Bring your own chalk or use ours; the Sidewalk Chalk Contest is a family favorite as patrons get to look at the artwork all weekend long.
Registration is free and starts at 9:30 AM and prizes are awarded! All ages welcome.
Located south of the Lincoln Park Pavilion near the Playground.
ART ON WHEELS
CAR SHOW
Presented by the Illiana Antique Automobile Club
The Art on Wheels Car Show presented by the Illiana Antique Automobile Club is held Saturday. Registration opens at 9:00 AM and the Show is from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Open show for Cars, Trucks, and Customs, Street Rods, Special Interest, Discontinued Makes & Models.
Awards to Top 50 - Plus Best of Show including Door Prizes, 100 Dash Plaques and Participant Vote.
Entry Fee $10.00

LINCOLN PARK STAGE
Enjoy two full days of music, dance, and entertainment on the Lincoln Park Stage.
Performances start Saturday at 10 AM and Sunday at 12 PM.

CHILDREN'S ART TENT

Bring the whole family to the Children's Art Tent, an Arts in the Park staple.
The Children's Art Tent will be packed with art activities for kids of all ages.
Open Saturday 10 AM - 5 PM and Sunday 11 AM - 5 PM.
LAMON HOUSE
The Lamon House was built in Danville around 1847 by Joseph B. and Melissa Beckwith Lamon. Melissa was the daughter of Dan Beckwith, founder of Danville, IL. Joseph was a cousin to Ward Hill Lamon, Lincoln's law partner and body guard.
It is one of the oldest frame residences in Danville and was moved from West North Street to its present location in 1984.
The Lamon House will be open:
June 25 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and
June 26 from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
The author, Bob O'Connor, one of the very special guests, will be portraying Ward Hill Lamon.
